MDF Cut List Calculator

Plan your MDF cuts on standard 2440 × 1220 or 2800 × 2070 sheets. MDF has no grain, so parts can turn to fill every gap and keep waste to a minimum.

Cutting MDF efficiently

Raw MDF has no grain, so every part may rotate: the optimizer uses that freedom to fill the sheet. Count about 3–4 mm per cut for the saw kerf and trim 5–10 mm from damaged factory edges.

Wear a dust mask: MDF dust is very fine. Seal the edges before painting, because they soak up paint.
