Kitchen Worktops: Sizes and Thicknesses

Kitchen worktops come in long lengths (3000–4100 mm) and standard depths of 600–650 mm, with thicknesses from 12 mm (compact) to 40 mm (solid wood and laminate).

Worktops thicknesses

Worktops is sold in 12 mm (1/2"), 27 mm (1 1/16"), 28 mm (1 1/8"), 38 mm (1 1/2"), 40 mm (1 9/16"). For furniture carcasses and doors, 16–19 mm is standard; thin sheets are for backs and drawer bottoms.
